Liz Moskowitz

Liz Moskowitz is a documentary photographer and filmmaker.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, she has lived in Austin for two decades. Much of her work seeks to understand and honor the dignity and nuances of people, places, and issues. She is a member of Women Photograph and the recipient of grants from the Dallas Museum of Art, the Henry Luce Foundation, Austin Film Society, Preservation Austin, the Summerlee Foundation, and the City of Austin. Several of her photos have been acquired by the Wittliff Collections at Texas State University. She holds a BA in photojournalism and English from the University of Texas at Austin.
