Charmaine Chua

Charmaine Chua is a professor of geography at the University of California, Berkeley.

She works at the intersection of Marxian political economy, supply chains, labor studies, and empire. Her first book, The Logistics Counterrevolution, is forthcoming from University of Minnesota press in 2027. She is a 2023 Marguerite Casey Foundation Freedom Scholar and has been organizing with Amazon workers since 2019.
