Washington University in St. Louis Joins Places as an Academic Partner

We are pleased to announce that the College of Architecture and Graduate School of Architecture & Urban Design, part of the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, Washington University in St. Louis, is now an Academic Partner of Places. As such they are part of a growing network of schools that provides core funding for the journal. With institutions ranging from North America to Europe to Asia, the network is a diverse group that shares Places’ commitment to public scholarship on architecture, landscape, and urbanism — to building a larger public constituency for serious design thinking.

Rod Barnett, Chair of the Master of Landscape Architecture program, will join our board of directors.
