Blaine Todd
Blaine Todd is Development Director of Places Journal.
Before joining Places, he spent over a decade at Other Minds, a San Francisco nonprofit dedicated to experimental music, where he served as Associate Director and helped lead development, curation, and public programs. He previously held fundraising roles at the Studio Museum in Harlem and the New-York Historical Society, and an editorial role at Zoetrope: All-Story.
Blaine is also a musician and curator whose work spans American folk traditions and sound art. He co-runs the Los Angeles–based record label and publisher Besom Presse and curates Latitudes, an experimental sound series in San Francisco. He studied literature at San Francisco State University and Aarhus University in Denmark.
