Common Accounts (Igor Bragado + Miles Gertler)
Common Accounts is an experimental design studio based in Madrid and Toronto, directed by Igor Bragado and Miles Gertler. The studio explores situations in which design intelligence is abundant but under the radar; Bragado and Gertler work to shape environments and to consult, teach, and inquire into the immediate future(s) of architecture. Common Accounts is driven by an interest in self-design and the human body’s interface with its environment. The studio’s output materializes in reports, narratives, image, installation, and video, as well as in building.
Igor Bragado is Adjunct Professor of Design at IE University in Madrid. Miles Gertler is Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, in the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design at the University of Toronto.
