Craig Robertson

Craig Robertson is an associate professor of media/communication studies at Northeastern University in Boston. His research focuses on the relationship between paper and information. He is particularly interested in thinking about the work needed to make paper work as paperwork.

Robertson is the author and editor of several books including, most recently, The Filing Cabinet: A Vertical History of Information (University of Minnesota) and The Passport in America: The History of a Document (Oxford University Press).
