David Bandurski

David Bandurski is the editor of the University of Hong Kong’s China Media Project website and a frequent commentator on Chinese media and current affairs. His writings have appeared in The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Index on Censorship, and other publications. In 2007 he received a Human Rights Press Award for an investigative piece about China’s internet censorship guidelines. David is a producer of Chinese independent films through his Hong Kong production company, Lantern Films.
