Don Mitchell

Don Mitchell is professor of Human Geography at Uppsala University and Distinguished Professor of Geography Emeritus at Syracuse University. He researches urban public space, capital-labor struggles in agribusiness, and radical theories of culture. His recent books include Mean Streets: Homelessness, Public Space, and the Limits to Capital and Revolting New York: How 400 Years of Riot, Rebellion, Uprising, and Revolution Shaped a City, which was co-edited with Neil Smith.
