    Emily Mitchell

    Emily Mitchell’s first novel The Last Summer of the World was a finalist for the 2008 NYPL Young Lions Award. Her short stories have appeared in Ploughshares, New England Review, TriQuarterly, and Agni, and her review-essays have been published in the New Statesman and The New York Times. She teaches creative writing in the Northeast Ohio MFA program at Cleveland State University.
