Emmett Scanlon

Emmett Scanlon is an architect and assistant professor in the School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy at University College Dublin.

His practice ranges across building and spatial design, public art, exhibition making and curation, research, teaching and writing. In 2018 he was Assistant to the Curators, Shelley Mc Namara and Yvonne Farrell, for FREESPACE, the 16th International Architecture Exhibition, Venice.  He is Architectural Advisor to the Arts Council and is both an advocate for opportunities and supports for architects to develop their creative practices and to access work and for greater inclusion of all people in discussions and processes of architecture design, production and use.
