Fallon Samuels Aidoo
Dr. Fallon Samuels Aidoo is a preservation planner and architectural historian who specializes in the history and future of real estate vital to Black, Indigenous, and immigrant culture.
Aidoo is an assistant professor of real estate and historic preservation at Tulane School of Architecture and Built Environment. Previously she held faculty positions in urban planning and architectural education at the University of New Orleans, Northeastern University, and Harvard University. Through her teaching, and her firm, studioRxP, Aidoo has undertaken public history and historic preservation projects funded by Mellon Foundation, National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Her work has been published in Future Anterior, Change over Time, Preservation and Social Inclusion, and peer-reviewed publications on climate change and disaster risk reduction.
