Joshua Mabie

Joshua Mabie is associate professor of English at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, where he researches and teaches American and environmental literature.

Mabie’s essays on literature and the built and natural environments have appeared in the collections Dwellings of Enchantment (2020), Transatlantic Literary Ecologies (2016), and The Edinburgh Companion to T.S. Eliot and the Arts (2016); his writing about farming has been published in The Learned Pig and Front Porch Republic. Josh and his wife, Kerstin, co-own Pied Beauty Farm, a small organic apple orchard and flower farm just outside Stoughton, Wisconsin.
