Lance Hosey is an architect and writer, and president of GreenBlue, a nonprofit that works to make products more sustainable. He has been featured in Metropolis magazine’s “Next Generation” program and Architectural Record’s “emerging architect” series. Until 2009, he was the director of William McDonough + Partners. In 2005, Lance founded the Just Building Alliance, a think tank and advocacy group devoted to fair trade and social justice in the construction industry. He is author of The Shape of Green: Aesthetics, Ecology and Design, and co-author, with Kira Gould, of Women in Green: Voices in Sustainable Design.
