Mark Feldman
Mark Feldman is a writer and communications consultant with Writing Works.
As principal of Writing Works, he helps organizations and businesses communicate effectively and creatively. In his own writing he is particularly interested in environmental art, ecological urbanism, and how attitudes and behaviors change. He lives in Portland, Oregon, and is currently working on an interview series for Sustainable Business Oregon, “Making Change,” that explores the specifics of how change happens through conversations with a range of sustainability leaders. Born and raised in New York, Feldman is currently working on a book, Urban Ecology: New York City’s Visionary Urbanism, about how artists, landscape architects and educators are reimaginging the city, greening the streets and changing perceptions of nature and urbanity. In 2009–10 he was a fellow at the Stanford Humanities Center and before that he participated in the Arts Writing Workshop, a partnership between the International Art Critics Association and the Creative Capital / Warhol Foundation.
