Melody R. Stein

Melody R. Stein is a landscape architect, writer, and artist, whose work is focused on developing deeper understandings of how people use land, and of relationships that emerge through practices in maintenance, management, and cultivation. She is the founder of studio VISIT,  a creative platform for the production of landscapes, art, and ideas. Melody received her Masters in Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where she was awarded the Jacob Weidenmann Prize for outstanding ability and talent in design. Her thesis, “Wild Rice Waters,” co-authored with Emily Hicks, won the 2019 Landscape Architecture Thesis Prize.
