Orla Murphy

Orla Murphy is an architect and assistant professor in the School of Architecture, Planning, and Environmental Policy at University College Dublin.

Her practice and teaching focuses on public engagement connected with the built environment, in particular in relation to rural towns and public space. She was co-curator of Free Market, the Irish Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia in 2018, and its subsequent national tour in 2019. She is co-presenter of Building Ireland, a documentary series looking at key moments in architecture and built heritage in Ireland, now in its third series.
