Peter Tolkin

Peter Tolkin is an architect and photographer and principal of Peter Tolkin Architecture.

In 2002 Architectural Record named him as one of ten emerging international architects in its annual Design Vanguard issue. His work has been recognized with numerous AIA awards and been published nationally and internationally in The New York Times, Architectural Record, Dwell, Domus, Abitare and Frame, among others. His photographic work — including projects such as “Airline Food” and “Wexner’s Center” — has been exhibited and published widely. He is currently teaching architecture at Cal Poly Pomona.
With Mabel O. Wilson, he is a collaborator on SideProjects. Their photo essay about artist John Outterbridge, “Catfish and Coltrane,” was published in the collection The Architecture of the Everyday.
