Pierre Bélanger

Pierre Bélanger is a landscape architect based in Boston. He is co-director of OPEN SYSTEMS, a non-profit research organization founded by Ghazal Jafari, Tiffany Kaewen Dang, Hernán Bianchi-Benguria, and Alexander Arroyo.

From books and pamphlets, to exhibitions and short films, Bélanger has collaborated on and contributed to a range of projects including A Botany of Violence (2022), White Skin, White Walls, White Lies (2022), La Flora del Futuro (2021), No Design on Stolen Land (2020), Confronting Columbus (2020), Extraction Empire (2018), Landscape as Infrastructure (2016), Going Live (2015), and Ecologies of Power (2016).
