Rasmus Grønbæk Hansen
Rasmus G. Hansen is a practice based academic. After 10 years of practice in one of Denmark’s leading office, he returned to the school from which he graduated, first as an associate professor where he led several design studios, and from 2013 as director of the school’s bachelor program.
In 2017 Rasmus was appointed head of education at the Aarhus School of Architecture with responsibility for developing the educational profile of the institution. In this position he has used his professional background as a driver in rethinking the school’s educational model, led the school to a position at the top of European architecture program, and established a range of international collaborations with institutions in Australia, Europe, and the United States.
Rasmus is a member of several committees under the Danish Association of Architects, a member of the Places‘ academic network, and a frequent speaker on architectural education at schools and conferences around the world.
