Sam Bloch

Sam Bloch is a journalist based in New York City. He was previously a staff writer at The New Food Economy, a nonprofit newsroom based in New York, where he covered labor, technology, and other forces that shape how we eat. He has written about arts and culture for the New York Times, L.A. Weekly, and artnet News, among others. A graduate of the Columbia Journalism School, he previously lived in one of Los Angeles’s shadiest neighborhoods.
