Shana Lopes

Shana Lopes, a graduate student in Art History at the University of Arizona in Tucson, has been conducting research on the contemporary German artist Thomas Demand. Her research interest is the history of photography, with an emphasis on 20th-century artists. Since 2001, Shana has continued to accrue gallery and museum experience in organizations such as the Fraenkel Gallery in San Francisco, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Center for Creative Photography, affiliated with the University of Arizona, where she is currently the recipient of the Ansel Adams Internship.
