Taylor James

Taylor James lives east of Phoenix, Arizona, near the base of the Superstition Mountains. He spends as much time as possible exploring and photographing the Sonoran Desert landscape and its inhabitants.

James earned a B.A. from Savannah College of Art and Design and is currently enrolled in the MFA program in photography at Arizona State University. He is especially interested in using photography to challenge our perceptions of people and places as well as to bring social issues to light. his work has been exhibited throughout the U.S. and in group shows in China and France.
