Zhang Xiao

Zhang Xiao is a photographer who lives and works in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China.

He was born in 1981, in Yantai City, Shandong Province, and graduated from the department of Architecture and Design at Yantai University in 2005. He left a position as photographer at the Chongqing Morning Post to pursue his creative work in 2009. His photography has received awards including The Houdengke Document Photography Award (2009), Three Shadows Photography Award (2010), Prix HSBC pour la Photographie (2011) and MIO Photo Award (2011).
