We are pleased to announce that the School of Architecture at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas are now Academic Partners of Places. As such they are part of a growing network of schools that provides core funding for the journal. With institutions ranging from North America to Europe to Asia, the network is a diverse group that shares Places’ commitment to public scholarship on architecture, landscape, and urbanism — to building a larger public constituency for serious design thinking.

Nelson Chen, director of CUHK’s School of Architecture, and Peter MacKeith, Dean of Architecture and Design at Arkansas, will join our board of directors.
