Joint Masters Program on Sustainability

Aarhus School of Architecture is partnering with Tsinghua University’s Department of Architecture in a Masters program in Energy and Green Architecture (MEGA).

MEGA’s main themes are energy and sustainable development; green architecture and design; management and personal development; and business development and intercultural understanding. MEGA is not restricted to climate responsive or energy efficient solutions, but takes into consideration spatial, cultural, social, material and economic aspects of a future-oriented architecture. The program focuses, in part, on the implementation of theories and strategies as a means of achieving practical results in the very different cultural contexts of Europe and China.

MEGA’s courses take place at Aarhus School of Architecture in Aarhus, Denmark, as well as at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. The instructional language is English.

An informational meeting will be held at the Aarhus School of Architecture on April 23, at 4:00pm. Please contact Professor Walter Unterrainer at [email protected] if you wish to attend the meeting.

Places is grateful for the support of a network of academic partners, all of which provide funding and advice. News items are provided by the partners.
