We are pleased to announce Places’ Climate Observers Award, part of the Microgrants for Marginalized Writers initiative at Alternating Current Press.

As part of our commitment to urban equity and resilient landscapes, we invite writers living on the front lines of climate change to report on the ways in which their communities are experiencing and responding to environmental crises.

Submissions of personal essays and reported narratives of 2,000-5,000 words will be accepted until May 31.
