We are pleased to announce that the School of Architecture + Planning at the University of New Mexico is now a member of Places’ network of Academic Partners.

The school, a designated Hispanic-Serving Institution, joins the growing group of design faculties that provide core funding for the journal. With institutions ranging from North America to Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa, the network is a diverse group that shares Places’ commitment to public scholarship on architecture, landscape, and urbanism — to building a larger public constituency for serious design thinking.

Robert A. González, dean of the School of Architecture + Planning, will represent the school on Places’ Board of Directors.
