David Gissen

David Gissen is an author, designer, and educator based in New York City. His books include The Architecture of Disability: Buildings, Cities, and Landscapes Beyond Access (2023); Subnature (2009); and Manhattan Atmospheres (2013). He is currently professor of architecture and urban history at the Parsons School of Design at The New School.
