Lucy Benjamin

Lucy Benjamin is a postdoctoral research fellow in architectural theory and creative practice at the University of Melbourne.

In 2024, she will take up a British Academy Fellowship at the Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the University of Edinburgh. Benjamin is currently editor of Parrhesia, a journal of critical philosophy, and assistant editor at  Philosophy, Politics and Critique. She serves as executive board member of the Australasian Society for Continental Philosophy. In 2023, Benjamin was a Visiting Fellow at the ANU Humanities Research Centre. She has published extensively on Hannah Arendt and currently serves on the board of directors of the Hannah Arendt Circle.
