Liliane Wong
Liliane Wong received her BA in mathematics from Vassar College and her M.Arch from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. She is a professor at the Rhode Island School of Design where she co-founded the Int|AR Journal on interventions in adaptive reuse. Wong is the author of Adaptive Reuse in Architecture: A Typological Guide and Adaptive Reuse: Extending the Lives of Buildings. She is co-author of Libraries: A Design Manual. Recognized by Design Intelligence as one of the top 25 most-admired design educators in the U.S. from 2018–2020, her teaching emphasizes the importance of public engagement and social activism in architecture and design.
