Adéwálé Májà-Pearce

Adéwálé Májà-Pearce is the author of a number of books, the latest of which, This Fiction Called Nigeria: The Struggle for Democracy, is forthcoming from Verso. He is currently writing a book on West Africa for Hurst & Co. He was formerly on the staff of Index on Censorship magazine; was once editor of the (now defunct) Heinemann African Writers Series; and currently co-runs The New Gong, a specialist publishing house. He lives in Lagos, Nigeria, and is a regular contributor to London Review of Books.
