Amber N. Wiley
Amber N. Wiley is an associate professor of planning, landscape architecture, and design and the Wick Cary Director of the Institute for Quality Communities in the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma. Her research centers on the social aspects of design and how these aspects affect urban communities, examining how preservation and public history contribute to the creation and maintenance of identity and a sense of place in cities. She has written about African American and African diasporic cultural heritage, urbanism in New Orleans, school design, urban renewal, and preservation.
