Andrew Holter

Andrew Holter is a writer and historian based in Chicago.

He is the editor of Going Around: Selected Journalism by Murray Kempton (Seven Stories Press, 2025), and his essays and criticism have appeared in publications including The Baffler, The Brooklyn Rail, Boston Review, Rolling Stone, and The Times Literary Supplement. He holds a doctorate in history from Northwestern University.
