Chantel Carr
Chantel Carr is a human geographer working at University of Wollongong, Australia.
Her interdisciplinary research looks at sustainability and energy transitions, with a focus on how climate change is transforming work practices, places, and communities at the heart of the carbon economy. Chantel’s work often highlights the deeply grounded expertise and place-based knowledges that shape localized responses to planning, climate, and energy policy. Prior to her research career, Chantel trained and worked in planning, architecture, and engineering.
