James O'Driscoll
James O’Driscoll is a lecturer in geospatial archaeology at the University of Glasgow. He spent the early part of his career in Ireland, before moving to Scotland in 2017. His broad range of interests centers around the use of digital and remote sensing techniques in the investigation of important later prehistoric landscapes in Ireland and northern Britain. He is the author of Hillforts, Warfare and Society in Bronze Age Ireland (with William O’Brien, 2017), and The Prehistoric Landscape of the Baltinglass Hills (with Alan Hawkes and William O’Brien, 2024).
