Nicole Lambrou
Nicole Lambrou is an assistant professor in urban and regional planning at the Cal Poly Pomona College of Environmental Design. She holds a project scientist position at UC Merced’s Sierra Nevada Research Institute, where she is studying differential exposure to wildfire disasters. As founder and executive director of the non-profit tinkercraft: Design & Advocacy Group, she works directly with communities across Los Angeles County facing climate risks.
She received a PhD in urban planning from UCLA and an M.Arch. from Yale. Her current research is focused on the social impacts of disaster recovery processes and on the labor of climate adaptation.
