Hubert Murray is an architect who has worked in the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. His portfolio includes public housing, schools and colleges, highway infrastructure, university campus and healthcare planning, and urban design. He has taught in London, Nairobi, and Boston, and is a guest critic at schools of architecture in Boston. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. With 1for3, a U.S.-based nonprofit organization, he has been supporting early childhood education and environmental and community-health programs based at the Lajee Community Center in Aida Refugee Camp in Palestine.
He also writes on architecture, the urban consequences of climate change, and other social issues, and works on art constructions in his back yard.
